Destination: Kerala

Last Weekend my friend Ravi got married. It was an arranged marriage. So, myself and 8 of the guys form work drove 12 hours down to a city in Kerala called Guruvayoor. We rented a van/bus thing. Here's a photo from the drive down:

The wedding itself was pretty crazy, they were getting married at a Hindu Temple, but so were a bunch of other people, so they got in line with all the other couples and one by one the couples were married. There was something like 20,000 people at the Temple site and we were packed in there pretty tight. But it was a neat experience.

On the way back we decided to go to the coast of the Arabian Sea. We gave this fisherman some rupees to take us out on the boat. The boat was very unstable and once we were pretty far out I come to find out that more than half these people can't swim. And of course the ones that couldn't swim were the guys trying to flip the boat. Good times.
Guess which one is me.
Kerala has a lot of elephants. After the beach we stopped at this cool elephant farm place where they had over 50 elephants. That was fun.

After I got back I was really sick and had malaria or something, but I'm starting to feel better, but that's why I haven't updated this thing in a while, plus I've been very busy at work on the days I didn't call in sick. Football season is underway and so my life is improving week by week.
